For your animals to have top energy, growth, and production they need the right proteins, vitamins, and minerals, at the right time.

Pia Cotter from Ridley Stock Feeds will be speaking at the Suffolk Field day on the 19th May. Pia will be discussing how to maintain ewe body condition during the 5-month pregnancy to attain healthy lambs – and lots of them, making your job easier and more profitable. “You have to get that feeding right, and often, it is just minor tweaking that is necessary.”

Following on from growing up on the family farm and completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal and Veterinary Biosciences, Pia’s role incorporates sales, and nutritional consultancy to primarily Dairy farms in the South Western districts.

Pia’s interests lie with ruminant nutrition and farm business management and is she is currently completing a Masters in Animal Sciences- Farm Consultancy. Pia has been personally involved with the Suffolk Breed from an early age, establishing, with her parents the Cotter Suffolk Stud, when she was in her early teenage years.

We would like to thank Ridley for their ongoing support of the Suffolk Sheep breed at some of the major livestock shows in Victoria. Products and information will be on display during the field day.
