James Taylor joined the Sheep Genetics team at Armidale last year. Graduating from a Bachelor of Agriculture (Animal Health) where he was part of the Intercollegiate Meat Judging team, James has taken the position of LAMBPLAN Development Officer.
James is from a beef and merino background in Northern Victoria and has experience across a range of dryland and irrigation enterprises.
James will be speaking about the opportunities for the Suffolk breed in today’s market and will also give us an overview of what MLA is doing to address customer expectations.
James will guide us through through carcass evaluation & lean red meat yield and discuss how the Suffolk breed compares in this area of performance.
